I didn’t find much online about the menu at Café Aria beyond mentions of pizza, sandwiches (with no details on the types), and rice bowls. Wanting to try something new without straying too far from the office, I decided to check it out. Café Aria is a charming little spot with plenty of seating, and it seems to be a popular place for both dine-in and takeout. As a first-time visitor, the ordering process was a bit unclear. Quick tip: if you're ordering a sandwich, head to the sandwich window; for everything else, go straight to the cashier. I ordered the bulgogi rice bowl, which is made fresh to order—so it takes a bit of time. Fair warning: the smell of sizzling meat is strong, and I walked out with my hair smelling like I’d just worked the grill myself. If your hair or clothes tend to
This is a wonderful little cafe. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich that was delicious. Price was reasonable, too! Thank you for a filling lunch!
I’ve been here 3x and didn’t want to leave a review only going there once. My first time I got pizza was during peak lunch time and it came out fairly quick. The pizza was warmed up and seemed fresh! It was good but slightly over priced for the amount you’re getting but it’s DC. 2nd time I came here was for breakfast and I got a bagel with cream cheese. Came out fairly quickly but my only complaint is that they barely give you any cream cheese! Not worth it. 3rd time I got a cheese pizza with tax is 7.42 or so and the pizza was barely warmed up and didn’t taste fresh! I came around 1:45pm!
Breakfast, lunch, sandwiches available. Next week sushi will be available. I had chili soup that was great. The coffee is also very nice. The people are amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxed and comforting.
Hair in my food! The worst thing you can do is have hair in your food that was overpriced. I didn't even get through a third of the grain bowl. While one person was taking my order, another said "let me charge you first." That would have normally been my sign to leave, but I didn't and now I'm still hungry and out of $18!
