Cafe Attaleia - Englewood

It was a little cold when we walked in but we liked the sweet cafe atmosphere. We were on our way to see my nephew Declan for his birthday, so this was a road trip stop. I like to look for diners and cafes on my travels & this was a Mediterranean place and they had a very diverse menu! I'm allergic to pork and they don't even serve it here so I'm getting the beef biscuits and gravy with a side of beef bacon! It was amazing! Loved it! Thank you for your hospitality and wonderful experience!

We were in the area and decided to stop in on a Saturday morning around 11am. We seated ourselves promptly and were welcomed with a warm beautiful smile. Our waitress was very friendly and kept checking on us. Although when we walked in it was freezing 🥶 a few others walked in saying the same thing but that won’t take away a star for me. The food came out very fast and it was decent. The potatoes were delicious (a little greasy for me but delicious) my “sausage patties” turned out to be miniature hamburger patties, French toast was delicious and the hot chocolate (because I was cold) hit the spot! Hours are from 8am to 3pm.

Our server, Ahmed, was a treat! He consistently made sure we were comfortable, the food came out in a timely manner, and the atmosphere is perfect for anyone looking for a place to study, think peacefully, or simply to enjoy a good meal. 10/10 would come again.

We ordered a few items to try and the Simit Sesame Bagel was our favorite!! They don't serve pork so they're beef bacon was a first for me. Very delicious. Calm atmosphere but had a distasteful smell as we were leaving. Friendly staff. Tons of parking. Kid friendly.

An absolute hidden gem. I recommend the Mediterranean bagel plate for vegetarian. Very much like a Turkish breakfast. Food was excellent and certainly mostly homemade. Wife had vegetable soup which was creamy with large hand cut vegetables. Very nice. Will absolutely be returning.
