Cafe Joy

The cutest coffee spot! Staff are super friendly and the interior is super cozy, and they even partner to help adopt dogs! Loved the space.

I come here almost weekly. For drinks I recommend milky strawberry matcha (has strawberry milk foam) Since it's a small cafe the taste changes occasionally but I don't mind that. Their food is also really good especially the k-street toast. The avocado toast (both versions) and chicken wrap is delicious as well! I've only tried one croffle but I recommend sharing with another person. Overall the cafe has a great atmosphere (seasonal decor) and the staff are very nice.

This trip was not founded on joy whatsoever. HOWEVER, by the end of it, surely it was Let me explain... I'll be honest... I accidentally took the wrong turn in Seattle and took the 520 toll bridge LOL!!! I thought, eh, I'm already going to Bellevue, let's get some matcha. I chose Café Joy as I knew there would be plentiful public library parking. FWIW, I used to work in Bellevue so I know all of the best parking areas Anyway, I visited on a very sunny Saturday early afternoon. The doors were open, revealing an already pretty packed establishment. Albeit, ample room for some to study or catch up with a friend. The menu was filled with many eye-catching items. I noticed they had a corn latte, so I asked the worker if it was possible to do a that with matcha instead of coffee. He suggested

I love love love their Corn latte!! I always crave it and think about this place all the time! Only thing disappointing is they open at 11am 😭 I always want coffee at like 9am and realized they are closed.. The atmosphere is so cute & cozy & service has always been amazing here. Highly recommend their corn latte! I tried their matcha and it’s not my favorite.. But def recommend their coffee or ades!

Beautiful little place! Staff is very friendly. I’m very touched by how she was beaming with joy as she handed me my to-go order. The croffle is freshly made and absolutely delicious!
