You’re greeted warmly upon arrival but you can tell the place screams generational wealth. The patrons here are Dallas Proper folks. Meaning they may have been coming to the restaurant, ever since they opened back in the mid 80s. A lot of seniors and you can tell since they have salt and pepper shakers on their tables (usually a sign they cook their food with less seasoning). Our server was genuinely nice and attentive, but don’t be surprised if you’re one of the few younger or more diverse diners in the room. This is a restaurant for Highland Park regulars and if you’re looking for trendiness or bold flavors, this place isn’t it.

Loved our experience here for a Saturday date night. Started with some great champagne to start. Loved that our server was available when needed but also gave us space! Started with oysters (they were good but small). For dinner we had the lobster and truffle pasta, 12 oz filet mignon and a side of asparagus. The pasta was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of lobster and freshly shaved truffle on top. The filet was also really good and cooked to a perfect medium rare however I could’ve done with the sauce on the side. Asparagus was good but slightly under seasoned. For dessert we got the sticky toffee pudding and it was so good! Overall a great experience and can’t wait to come back!

What a neighborhood restaurant! You can tell that a majority of the people coming in live nearby and have been coming here for years or decades. Same for the servers - they've been here for decades and know their customers. I bet some of the customers are managing the retirement funds for these servers Fresh flowers everywhere. Old school service. Delicious food. Wonderful place

Beautiful place, the staff were wonderful and prompt. The food was better than most places and not overly priced, although you can expect to spend at least $40 per person. Make sure to make a reservation and dress according to their rules.

We celebrated a friend's birthday here, and it was divine! I had the prime braised beef short ribs that was cooked to perfection.
