Cafecitos Bakery

We passed by and saw this new place was open. We wanted to try it. It’s nice to see pretty and inviting establishments in town. It was pretty empty when we went. They didn’t have many coffee options. Since it’s called cafecitos I thought it would be more varied. They had a few pastry options and some food options. I had one of the fresh made juices. It was well blended and mixed. The Cuban sandwich was very good. I’ve been to places where the ham is the show instead of the pork. I can’t wait for them to expand their coffee options. I will be back. Oh and it has private parking.

Cafecitos is truly a neighborhood gem! It’s is really the kind of place this neighborhood sorely needed and it excelled in every aspect. The drinks are are perfect — not weak, not bitter. The pastries are a combination of European and Caribbean goodies. The Sandwiches are generally in their portions and very nicely seasoned. The place is super cute and clean too. And, as if all of that wasn’t enough, the prices are almost too affordable (so tip them well, folks!) this is the peptide r place to sit down and grab some coffee with a friend. I cannot recommend Cafecitos highly enough!!!

New spot, about 5 months old, clean and bright. Lots of options for empanadas, great desert selection, breakfast sandwiches. No diet drinks. Staff was great, street parking, steps from Bloomfield Ave in north Newark

I stopped by this new café it absolutely deserves 5 stars. The place is beautiful inside—clean, welcoming, and full of that classic charm. I ordered a chicken sandwich, a beef empanada, and their freshly made orange juice (that they squeeze right in front of me)... everything was delicious. Best part? The prices were super reasonable—great quality without breaking the bank. Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting again!

This Place!! OMG!! Soo Good! They make their own pastries & desserts. I've had their Salad w/Chicken or Beef, Baked Beef Empanada to die for!! Avocado smoothie, breakfast sandwich, and the owner & staff are so pleasant and accommodating.. everything is so clean and bright 🌞 ✨️ I highly recommend!👍😃 .. 🫶 ..
