A beautiful spot in a prime location—perfect for locals who can just step downstairs to a corner coffee shop with an open-concept layout, lush greenery, and great aesthetics. There's plenty of seating, even for groups of six, making it ideal for hanging out. The bakery is stacked with options, from pistachio muffins to thick, juicy baklavas. The menu is simple, with average pricing in line with nearby spots. I did try a vanilla iced latte, but it was watered down despite not waiting long—maybe the hot version is better. I also had an affogato; while the gelato wasn’t super creamy, it blended nicely with the espresso—definitely worth a try on a hot summer day

Caffe Torino in Astoria is a charming café with stylish indoor and outdoor seating that creates a cozy, welcoming vibe. The coffee was above average—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. They also offer a tempting selection of pastries and gelato, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. I didn’t try the gelato this time, but it looked delicious, and I’m definitely coming back for it. A solid addition to the Astoria café scene with both looks and quality.

I stumbled upon this cute little cafe while looking for a place to sit and have a coffee and a bite. The oversized windows were wide open and inviting, so I walked right in. Everything looked delicious, but I settled on a cranberry muffin, which was beautiful. Later in the day, they also make pizza. I enjoyed my time here, having a bit of breakfast while doing a little remote work. It's a great addition to the neighborhood, and they have outdoor seating, too.

I stopped here to warm up and clear my head after a movie. For the first 10 minutes, I succeeded: the atmosphere was relaxed, my coffee was good, and it was easy to decompress in my corner booth. If that had been the extent of my experience, this would be a five-star review. It brings no satisfaction to describe what occurred next. The barista’s boyfriend entered and asked if the seat across the communal table was free; I gladly indicated it was all his. He took out his vape and took several fat rips, exhaling stale gray clouds onto what was left of my coffee. He and the barista carried on long distracting conversations, until he moved onto taking speakerphone calls. All that I could ignore. It was harder to ignore when he retreated into the restroom and absolutely blew up the toilet. He

When I walked in, the service was top notch. The barista is was very friendly, helpful in making my decisions and welcoming. The interior was cozy, comfortable seats to where you can sit and work on your essay, paper, screenplay, whatever. Food and coffee wise, I had two danishes and one cappuccino. Cheese Danish: tasted cold and stale even after it was warmed up, cheese tasted a little…. different. Strawberry Danish: this tasted much better than the cheese danish but it wasn’t that good, similar reasons to the cheese danish. Cappuccino: this is definitely very far from the best coffee I’ve ever had. It had a bitterness unusual for coffee. I would definitely give them another try for sure.
