Customer Reviews
We enjoyed great food and coffee and most of all the excellent, friendly and funny service. Great quality of ingredients. Their Greek avocado toast is so balanced. I added and egg to mine. The burrito has plenty of good veggies.
If you are in the Marina, CA area looking for a delicious breakfast, brunch, or lunch, do not pass go … do not collect $200 (well, unless someone’s offering it to you no strings attached) … and go straight to Café Mia! Located in an unassuming strip mall, this little gem offers some of the tastiest breakfast dishes, quiches, sandwiches, baked goods, and morning drinks, you’ll find anywhere. Plus, a very friendly staff, and the owner (Horace) is such a great guy. If you’re lucky, you’ll be there at just the right time to hear him masterfully blast out some calls on his genuine Ram’s horn Shofar. But, it’s definitely the food that will have you hooked on this place. I’ve been there three times with the Cavegirls and have yet to be even slightly disappointed. The lox plate (not pictured, unfo
In a world where it feels like cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants no longer care about service with a smile, Café Mia is the exception. Not only is the food & coffee good, but thanks to Horace (the owner) the service is exceptional. Ask for the daily special, there seems to be a daily rotation of food item specials. One of the kindest, most welcoming, and hospitable customer service experiences I’ve had in a long while!
We are from out of town and had to come back on our way to the airport!! Sitting here now listening to some Hillsong music and drinking the most delicious latte. The pastries are phenomenal (Cherry croissant, cheese danish. Strawberry almond croissant)! The quiche and breakfast burrito are so yummy! We will definitely be returning here when in town! We are visiting our injured marine, and the daily devotion reading at the display case was so on point that I’m thinking it was Divine intervention that we were lead here. The atmosphere is A+ and the owner and staff are lovely.
Cute little cafe, on the way back to the bay from Carmel. Looked like a family owned business and the owner who also took our order, had such a welcoming demeanour and the biggest smile. We instantly felt comfortable. There are a bunch of tables inside the cafe as well as some outside if you prefer to sit in the sun. They probably have the biggest pastries I have ever seen. We got some coffee, which was pretty good. We also got the banana bread which was a little doughy but was the right amount of sweetness.
