Café Zupas

The manager who subbed on 1/14/26 by the name of jacob is an absolute joke of a manager. There is an issue with their kiosk and the app on that day. After waiting at the window for over twenty minutes, I finally got to place my order. I was informed.They don't have the ability to modify an order, so the kid at the window wrote it on a piece of paper. I waited for forty minutes from the time I got to the drive through and got my food. They had messed up my order so bad, it was unedible. My salad consisted of corn, onions and tortilla strips with so much chipotle glaze, it was nauseating. By the time I got to work, my salad was just a pile of mush. I genuinely like Cafe Zupas and I want to keep coming back, but this particular location has become extremely frustrating. My orders from this store are consistently wrong, to the point where it feels like accuracy and attention to detail are not a priority. When I call to address the issue, I ask directly for a manager. The person on the phone tells me he is the manager and takes my information. I recommend giving my customer number multiple times, and each time I’m told they “only need my name.” I then say and spell my name several times, and I’m told my refund has been issued. Then, about 20 minutes later, another manager calls me back and asks the exact same questions all over again—almost like nothing was documented or communicated internally. My wife and I are very disappointed in the direction Zuppas is going. My wife ordered Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich and there was very little chicken in it. As you can see for yourself in the photo, just how ridiculously little chicken was in it. My sandwich was the same. We should have said something when we were there. We will in the future. I hope you all will also.

The last time I visited Zupas was in 2014 in Boise and they were fantastic. I was absolutely shocked at the decline of this company when I visited last week. Just wow. Manager was the first to ask what I wanted in line and couldn’t be bothered to look at us or speak to us respectfully. He attitude made us feel so unwelcome and we had just arrived. We weren’t asked what options we wanted, and not given the option to participate in the process so of course things were missing and wrong. We weren’t told which order was ours as they were working on multiple other orders at the same time, so we waited at an empty register for 7 minutes while some to go boxes sat near the counter. Are you joking?? I ordered a salad and a half size lobster bisque soup. They gave me soup with NO meat, just the creme 🥴 and they also didnt give me ANY of the sides I ordered. (Two baguettes, they did remember stawberries) they took forever, it was over priced and Im still hungry. Just buy some canned soup and bread from walmart, it would be faster than ordering here and you would actually get meat in your Lobster Bisque. Never going back.
