Well, it's a mixed bag - I like the actual spot for what it is. But, the Harwich cops LOVE to give out tickets for parking very selectively. They fined me $100 on the 4th of July for parking in a lot that was fairly empty and had no signs to not park, no sign to pay for parking or that you aren't allowed to park, and if you are supposed to pay, no gate or attendant to take money to park... its ridiculous. So I guess my issue is with the lousy Harwich PD, not the beach or pond. Just be warned, leave your car at home I guess...

Love, love, love this pond. Clean and not crowded. Also shady if you don't want the sun.
I use to go here every Summer when I was a kid, from 1968 through 1975. It hasn't changed much!
