Calabasas Library

The children’s section has no play area. Other libraries (i.e. Thousand Oaks, Malibu) have play houses, toy food, comfortable places to read, opportunities to play, explore and use imagination. The book sales are not good compared to T.O.’s daily book sale. While Calabasas is much smaller than T.O., it would still be nice to see something kids could do to connect, play etc.

Only spend a little time there this afternoon, but it was a nice library. I live in Thousand Oaks, and I'm spoiled my our library there (ample parking, generous hours, open 7 days a week, large selection of books, videos, etc) I was impressed by how the Calabasas library displayed a few groupings of books (like ones related to culinary interests, others featuring "job hunting" helps, ...) Also the grounds near the library offered a lovely Veteran's garden ❤️

One of the best libraries I’ve ever been to. Very clean and quiet.

Thursday July 13 2023 The library was quiet and peaceful and the staff who work there are very friendly and helpful.The books are categorized and there are computers near one of the help desks that you can use for an hour if you have your library card to sign in with.

I love this library!! So calming and great place to get work done!!! I love libraries!!! ❤️
