Caledonia State Park features a large, ADA accessible swimming pool with a waterslide and a small snack bar. The pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day, but hours vary throughout the summer season. Call the park before leaving home. An admission fee is charged. There are picnic tables outside the pool and a large play field. For more information see my you tube video at: thePAparksman
This pool is excellent! Very well maintained and the lifeguards are very friendly and well trained, they do a great job of patrolling the pool! Love the outdoor pool area it’s very spacious and nice. Bathrooms are very clean as well. Overall a great experience and pool!
The lifeguards do not pay attention. Kids breaking all sorts of rules and they don’t care. + how dangerous is it if someone were to drown. Also the bathrooms are gross. Attached picture of lifeguard on phone.
Great pool! There is a very fun slide, and the water goes as deep as nine and a half feet (there is an area to dive at the very end of the pool.) I remember them having a diving board, they don't anymore. Hopefully they bring it back! Concession stand is out of order, I asked the lifeguards about it and then told me that no company has set a bid for it yet. Bummer! I suggest bringing your own food and grilling on the many locations outside the pool area. There are clean facilities, and the staff check the water quality every day.
Closed for the entire 2021 and 2022 season. The office says it’s because of a lifeguard shortage, but how are the other local lakes able to hire lifeguards? It is such a shame this pool is left to rot. Update: I received an email on 4/25 that they are still trying to hire lifeguards, so the pool isn’t officially closed yet. We’ll see. I still want to know if we will get a full refund if we cancel our camping reservation when the pool is officially declared to be closed. Update: Pool is definitely closed for the 2022 season.
