California Pizza Kitchen at Lakes at Thousand Oaks

A nice sit down cafe, with a pick up site too. It’s really my first visit to this restaurant chain. Food is fresh and tasty. Service was warm. A bit more time was used for the waitress to come to us and get the order ready but it’s understandable since it’s really dinner time. We ordered a pasta kids meal which comes with fresh fruit, very sweet, and a steak salad with real steak chunks. We liked what we ordered. We had to pack some of the pasta because the portion was big and my daughter’s tummy is small. Overall we enjoyed our dining experience at this location. My daughter had a few rehearsals at the big theater and was very grateful to be able to sit down and refuel. The restaurant was very good and the service was perfect and wonderful. There was even a problem with the salad I ordered, and the entire staff apologized and did not charge me for the food. I was not upset about the problem, but I was very happy that the staff was so responsible.

It was a Wednesday about 5:30. Restaurant was not busy. Immediately seated and given menus and quickly asked if we knew what we wanted to order. We said we hadn't seen the menus and needed a moment to decide. Took a long time to see the server again and placed our orders for drinks, appetizer, and entree. The drinks came along with appetizers. Long wait later the pizza arrived. It was stiff and barely warm and light on toppings. We each ate a slice but decided we didn't have time to send it back, so we asked for a box to go, paid the bill and left. We will not eat here again!

Interesting offer for lunch from 11:00 to 4:00 for $14. You can choose soup with salad, pizza with soup, pasta bolognese with salad. The service was good, the food was tasty, hot, fresh, the waiter was nice and welcoming. The interior is beautiful, the atmosphere is welcoming. I recommend. P.S. We were given cards for a prize draw for the next visit to the restaurant.

I went to California Pizza Kitchen and was very disappointed. The restaurant as usual is dirty and not well maintained. We ordered pizza, and when it arrived, there was a hair on top of it and definitely was belong to waiter – absolutely unacceptable and very unhygienic. On top of that, the service is terrible. Usually have to wait a long time to be served, and the staff didn’t seem to care. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this place at all.🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
