Moved a kid into the dorms and everyone was so incredibly knowledgeable, kind, helpful..... it was almost surreal. The campus is beautiful. So many trees! Love the architecture. There also seems like there is a lot of support for students. Fingers crossed it stays amazing as time goes on.

I am an alumni here. I studied forestry and come to find out it was a wasted degree. I should have worked for a local arborist and worked my way up, instead I struggled in college for a degree that was relatively useless. Yes, I did use it to make $100,000/year when I got out and before I did, but I think in forestry its better if you just work for an arborist and earn your ISA certified arborist. During my time here the police stalked me and bothered me, girls reported me to the dean and I had these dean meetings. This college supports you if you are female, black, hispanic, native american, etc. Being white and male is okay, but you get targeted here. It's just a very inappropriate culture.
