It was our first time coming. A lot of parking in the back. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean and well kept. The coffee is not too sweet or too bitter it’s a perfect mix to complement the sweetness of the pastries. The champurrado is very sweet which is perfect although if you’re not into sweet drinks like me I wouldn’t recommend. The Brioche Abelita Chai was the best it wasn’t overly stuffed so you got a taste for the chocolate donut plus the yummy filling. The fresa con creama concha was not our favorite. It was too sweet and we were expecting fresh strawberries it just had too much cream and just strawberry jam. The churro concha was good it wasn't too overpowered by the filling inside it was nice and subtle you can taste the concha and get an after taste of churro.

BIG SUPPORT TO A SMALL BUSINESS THATS BEEN IN THE WORKS. It’s incredible to see what a turnout there was in support of such an amazing baker as Cal. I was so proud to see that there was a line and only the people dedicated to support a small business that deserves all of the praise are those who showed up and didn’t complain about the wait. Yes! I said it! Those who truly support small business owners and small businesses especially one that is up and coming like Cal’s Bakeshop are those that are dedicated to show up and admire the wait, admire that the pastries are selling out and that business is BOOMING. THIS IS GOOD. Cal’s Bakeshop deserves all the business and the wait should there be one because these items that they give really are one of a kind in Tucson! Vegan friendly, unique,

Admire that I had to wait in line! First day and such an amazing turn out! As a day 1 supporter I value the wait and the sell out since that is so great for their business! If I didn't want to wait so long, I would have gotten there sooner, woken up earlier, been there before they even open because as amazing as the pastries and the drinks are, I know they will sell out because people love the stuff! I was just about to set up camp like it was black Friday. For a day 1, love the turn out, love the wait, love the staff, love the quick and easy service! Can't wait for what is next to come!

What a great place, just a couple of guys passionate about making delicious baked goods to a level not achievable by most. It was a great experience, I was overwhelmed by the offerings and was met with candid delightful assistance by Cal and his brother. The pastries were other worldly, I cannot say enough good things. One thing is for sure, these guys love what they do l.

I came here on a Saturday morning at 10:40 and there wasn’t anyone besides workers there. The 2 owners were around but don’t greet us as we came in, not that they have to but?? Also besides the 2 girls working the register the 3 other workers there were just sitting around talking very loudly that we chose to sit outside because it was so overwhelming. I got these 3 items from Cals Bakeshop, the only one that was truly amazing was the brioche blueberry donut! As a Mexican person the concha was not good. The concept of it sounds good but the actually sugar on top tastes chemically. Their coffee is good and so is their tea. The pastries also would have been good if they had offered to hear some up. I was super excited to come here after seeing it on Instagram but it really just was not good.
