Camila's Bakery

First time we tried their jelly rolls, and elephant ears, OMG! Delicious, and not too sweet. The second time , there wasn't either pastry, so we tried the almond croissants and a sugar donut. Wow! Light, moist and filling in the croissant was not over the top "sweet". The donut was so light and not greasy. Cant wait to stop by again to try another pastry from Camila's Bakery!

Tried all types of Brownies, variety of cakes, any type requested can be ordered by request. I made request and was filled very quickly. Fast service. You choose and check out. Family very nice. Weddi-Kings was nice but are gone this is a nice new option. I am happy with selection so far and know new items on way. I have them multiple recipes from my bakery. I like the new bakery they still need seating and few more items but with any new business takes time to buy equipment. 😉

Camila's Bakery is a welcome site in Escondido. The staff is friendly and hard working. The prices are good as are the portions. Camila's Bakery offers traditional Mexican baked favorites and a whole lot more. They even have fresh Tamales if you looking for something more than sweets. We tried the Pollo Tamales and they were quite tasty. Since I am big on chocolate, I tried the Chocolate Cake with the Whipped topping. I wasn't disappointed at all. I also tried a Cream filled Chocolate cake...nice. Our last treat we tried today was the Pastel de Tres Leche cake... delicious. Tres Leche is one of my favorites and this one delivered. This bakery is WONDERFUL! 1st day we went they had fresh, out-of-the-oven Almond Croissants and insisted we try them! They were amazing! We’ve been back many times! We now have our favorites but we can’t tell you because we want them for ourselves!

Kenia at Camila's is excellent. She went above and beyond to help me today. I am in Northern CA and needed to have something delivered last minute. she took pictures and sent them to my phone and and delivered. please visit this new bakery and support them in being successful.
