Canela Café - Santa Maria, CA

I had such a beautiful experience today, while I took myself out for coffee, for Valentine's day. The decorations were lovely. The bathroom was clean. I got two heart concha and an horchata latte. I feel like the coffee needed more flavor. It tasted slightly watery, not enough espresso flavor. Other then that it was amazing! It was so cute and the vibe was inviting. They also had this fun machine that prints an image on your latte 💗. Which really made my day. I printed the picture of my dad who recently passed. I was able to share another Valentine's including my dad. Beautiful experience. Highly recommended 💗.

Canela Cafe was a 10/10 experience for my family and I. From the drinks to the pastries. We tried a couple drinks biscoff latte, coco puff late, duvalin latte and (a plus) my kids got to enjoy their hot chocolate as well! We also got to try some refreshers, pepino con limón, horchata and mango tango. Mango Tango definitely out-stood itself, super refreshing! Pastries were super soft and delicious! Choco Banana was also my kids favorite. Staff is super welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of while enjoying the vibe inside of Canela Cafe. Drove from Soledad, Ca and will definitely be back soon!

The first time we ordered, everything looked great and was made really well. Unfortunately, our recent orders haven’t been consistent — portions and presentation are noticeably different each time. The flavor is still good, but consistency needs improvement.

Julissa was such a sweet employee! She was so friendly and welcoming the first time I came into Canela Cafe! She recommended the vanilla cold form on my drink and personally made my beverage & when I tried it, it was one the best coffees I have ever had! Highly recommend trying Canela Café! Super friendly staff!

Super cute cafe with various drink options like frappe, horchata, matcha, refreshers, chai and specialty drinks. Love that you can order half sweet as well; I got the pumpkin chai half sweet and it was perfect. The art on the walls is pretty cool as well. Didn’t grab food this time, the prices are a tad higher than I’d prefer to spend for ham and cheese sandwich or grilled cheese etc. cool latte art you scan QR code and pick which you’d like!
