Cantina Majano

I saw a post of Facebook and decided to let my husband know if he was interested because he’s fully Mexican and a lot of “Authentic” Mexican restaurants don’t really sell sopes or they’re good. Out of all the service is good, the environment is outdoors, and the food is fresh which means you have to wait, although it’s worth it!! Chorizo Tacos 🌮 10/10 Sopes 10/10 Mango-Rona-Rite 10/10 Nachos 10/10

This is the review youre looking for. Ordered carne tacos for myself, perfectly cooked tortillas and well seasoned meat. 10/10 My wife is vegan and got two tofu tacos and a black bean with vegan cheese and she was over the moon. Its tough to find decent vegan options at mexican restaurants most of the time, especially authentic restaurants like cantina majano. The salsa options are all made in house and are amazing. If you are in downtown jacksonville and want mexican street tacos at a great price and more importantly with a great flavor check this place out. Crispy tofu....

My new favorite restaurant. All the food is absolutely delicious. We had the sopes, flautas and chips and queso and it was honestly the best meal out I've had in a very long time. The Jarrito-Rise was also excellent! Service and staff A+++. The owner is a perfect human being 10/10.

This place has the best Mexican food I've had since California. I hail from Cali but I haven't been back in 12 yrs. That's 12 yrs of bad Mexican food investments - I gave up. The food was so good, I had to go back the next day to try something different. I needed to be sure before leaving a 5 star review. Pollo burrito yesterday, carnitas tacos today. Amazing ya'll! So when you show up, there will be a small wait but don't sweat it yo. Rome wasn't built in a day and perfection takes time. While the world might not wait for no man, it sure as hell waits for Cantina Majano. Fuhgeddaboudit. Plus they sell beer also and have a nice big ol space to watch the world go by.
