Customer Reviews
We just moved here and today was our first visit to the Cape Coral Library. The children’s area is perfect - spacious, full of books and materials for different ages. The librarians were very kind and helped my son during his first experience there. We loved it!
We absolutely love our public library in Cape Coral. The staff is consistently kind, patient, and welcoming to our two girls. The library fosters a wonderful community atmosphere that truly encourages a love of reading. Each month, they offer engaging search-and-find activities or interactive games that make every visit exciting for children. Our daughters have been visiting the library since they were under a year old, and we firmly believe that this early exposure has played a meaningful role in their growth as readers. We are grateful for the positive impact this library continues to have on our family.
I cannot rave enough about the Cape Coral branch of the Lee County Library System. The librarians here are fantastic, helpful, and friendly including Miss Debbie and Miss Heather. The book and media selection is plentiful and varied. Borrowing a book from a different branch is a very simple process. Many interesting activities happen regularly throughout each month at the library. As an added bonus, the library has a serene and beautiful garden tended to by volunteers from the community.
The man who was at the customer service desk was extremely, extremely rude. It truly seemed as if I was bothering him (he wasn't doing anything and just sitting there), had a nasty tone in his voice, rolled his eyes at me and even grunted at me! The security guard wasn't any better either, he was too busy playing on his phone and couldn't answer a simple question. It's so nice to know that are tax dollars are hard at work!!!
Let me tell you, great library! Very wide, with a kids section, teen section, adult section and even a butterfly garden. Staff are very helpful and kind. There are also events at the library! A very nice and comfortable library. How do I know? They have a sign, "Safe Place", with the A being replaced with a house.
