Capital One Café

It’s a great cafe for capital one card holders. I came here because my credit card gave me a voucher for a free coffee from capital one cafe so I ordered a lavender latte and a ham and cheese crossaint sandwich. The ham and cheese tasted weird with the orange jelly they put in there and the latte wasn’t bad at all, I should’ve ordered a larger size because I finished it in like 5 minutes or less. I love how this cafe gives out free luggage tags which is a kind gesture and the customer service is great.

The banking customer service was great, but if this is the quality of food that Capital One Cafe has to offer then they need not to serve food. This sandwich looks nothing like the picture and definitely not worth almost the $11 that I was charged. There was nothing roasted about the sliced luncheon meat they used and it didn’t even taste that great…waste of my money.

I had the best service today at Capital One Café. Jacob helped me open a savings account and checking account that I couldn’t figure out how to do on my own walk me through the whole process with ease. Then after I got some food and coffee at the café, it was great as well.! I recommend. Since I’m one of the banking customers, they even offered me free coffee. 10 stars!

My experience today was nothing short of a public embarrassment, thanks to an employee named Kevin. He refused to honor the voucher from the bank that the system had clearly processed, without providing any justification whatsoever. When I tried to understand the situation, he was dismissive and created an incredibly awkward scene right in public. His attitude was completely unprofessional and made me feel humiliated. Thankfully, Britney stepped in. She was helpful, clarified the situation immediately, and ensured the order was processed correctly. Britney genuinely understands customer service. I’ve been a loyal Capital One customer for years — six accounts, credit cards, an auto loan — the whole package. And this Discover debit card “upgrade”? Quite possibly the bonehead move of the decade. I received my shiny new Discover-branded debit card only to find out it’s not accepted at a shocking number of places. Fantastic job, Capital One — swapping out a perfectly functioning debit network for one that gets rejected everywhere. Brilliant. And the “support” process? Every time the card doesn’t work, I’m supposed to call customer service so an agent can read from a script and file a merchant report. Seriously?
