Capital One Café

Cafe in the mall is a great place to relax, work, or take a break from shopping. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, with plenty of seating but noisy atmosphere. It’s nice to stop in for a quick drink but spending some time on your laptop can be hard with the noise. The coffee and drinks are decent, and Capital One cardholders get a nice discount, which is a plus. Staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s no pressure to be a Capital One customer to enjoy the space. Overall, a decent spot that adds value to the mall experience.

One of my favorite stops at the UTC mall. Staff & baristas are always friendly and welcoming, even on the busiest days. The bustling environment is fun - a lot of guests come to work and/or hangout. They’ve got special seasonal offerings, as well as Capital One swag/goods in store sometimes. They serve Verve coffee - yum!

I am a Capital One customer but never tried their coffee. My son always go to this Cafe' when we visit La Jolla. So yesterday, Valentine's Day we tried it. It was better than Starbucks and cheaper as a Capital One customer I got a 50% discount. The server who took our order was Jessica. There were only two of them and the place was packed. She did a great job. Fast and friendly service too.

Went to the cafe for a place to study. It was nice that they have free wifi and plenty of outlets but thats all this place has going for it. Food is poorly made and cook from frozen so it is often soggy. If you want to sit you have to buy something which is reasonable until you see there prices. I got an 8 Oz latte with caramel and it came out to 7 dollars. I'm not sure how you unchangeable something that much but they did. You would expect the coffee to atheist be decent then but no. The espresso tasted burt and the milk was sour. Would not recommend. Its a shame that capital one cafe is one of the few quiet places to study in UTC.
