Capt Hais Fresh Seafood Market & Deli

We got food and took it back to our room the last two days of vacation from here. They were patient and explained how things work as we are from OH and never done markets that cook your food for you. They even stayed open a little past 830PM because they knew we were coming yesterday. The seafood is fresh and the flavor seasonings is delicious! We did steamed yesterday and fried today. Jumbo shrimp, swai, grouper, and crawfish. Homemade tarter sauce is a must. All very delicious. It maybe a covienient store, but it should be on a place to stop when in PCB. We ate at schooners & dat cajun place. Ordered similar things and I must say they didn't even compare to Captain Hais! We could have been happy eating here our whole trip. I’ve been coming here since I was a child and I’m grown now. I purchased crab legs from here which is common for me. The staff recognizes me when I come. I got home and they had a bad smell and taste. I took them back and the gentleman man who prepared them instantly knew what the problem was before I even opened my mouth. He told me I would have to come back the next day and speak to the manager and informed me to take the food with me and bring it back the next day. Mind you he called the manager right then and explained the situation. I come back the next day, the manager isn’t there. I give them back the food because it was leaving god awful smell in my fridge and left one in my car from the trip up there. They call the manager again and take my name and phone number. Lisa in the Seafood market is a amazing person. She made me smile when I thought that I never would again. My wife passed away 4 months ago and it's been a rough road. Looking forward to seeing her for her beautiful smile again soon.

I absolutely love Captain Hais. I had the shrimp boil and it was amazing, like always. They never disappoint. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out. And it is also a great environment. The family who owns it are really great people! Definitely the best seafood anywhere around in my opinion. Nicki and DJ were great too.

Went to pcb for the weekend knew I wanted some crab legs and shrimp , I googled and based off reviews I picked this place so glad I did it was great ! Will definitely be on my list every visit, it may be in' tha hood' in the back of a convenience store but who ever cooking they cooking with love as you can tell with the details some of the best crab legs ever !
