Captain Joe's Seafood, Jesup, GA

Sometimes, even though I am gluten sensitive, it's worth it to eat some good seafood. I popped my Benadryl before I ever went inside to eat. I got the Seafood Plattee for One. The fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, fried oysters, fried fish, fried clam strips, and the deviled crab were all amazing. I haven't had fried seafood in a long time. The salad bar was fresh and delicious as well! They even have radishes!! My waitress and entire crew were all top notch! I just hate I don't go thru here often.

My husband and I stopped here. I had eaten at other Captain Joe's and wasn't very impressed. But we figured we would give it a try. I'm glad we did. The food was delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and tody. I have not one single complaint.

Great food at a great price. Very comfortable, cozy atmosphere. The people were all very friendly and provided exceptional service. We had 8 people in our group and no one had to wait for anything. I can't speak for the other Captain Joe's establishments, but if they're half as good as the Jesup location, you can't go wrong. They have an excellent soup and salad bar so be careful. If you fill up on that, you won't have any room for the other food and that would be a crime. I strongly recommend Captain Joe's Jesup GA location, and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Upon entering, we were greeted by staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the food was not hot at all, it looked appetizing but it was cold and not very good at all. The prices were ok but not worth the taste or quality. The cheeseburgers for my kids were overcooked and burned along with the burger buns. The pizza my youngest daughter had off the kids' menu was extremely cold. The crinkle fries were cooked twice, and they were almost burnt. The buffet salad 🥗 bar was good.

OMG! We're so happy we stopped here. Excellent service. Fresh and delicious food. Generous portions. We ordered the seafood platter for two and everything tasted amazing. Hush puppies, onion rings, fried oysters, clam strips, fish filets, popcorn shrimp and steamed shrimp. All entrees include the soup and salad bar which is one of the best salad bars around. The soups looked amazing but we were too full to try them. We will definitely be back. Great value for your money.
