Captain Smith's Seafood

I usually get crabs once a year only due to gout. When I get them it's usually larger crabs so I can be sure to enjoy the experience. My brothers had been telling me about Captain Smith's. It did not disappoint. Crabs were good size, affordable and meaty. Would definitely recommend!

My mom has been craving crabs and we were recommended by a local to come here. We purchased 2 dozen female crabs ($20/dozen), 1 dozen oysters ($10), and fresh fish. We got the crabs and oysters steamed and the fish we brought home to make sinigang (Filipino tamarind soup). Although the crabs We got today are from North Carolina, we were happy with how fresh they were. We are new to the area and I am glad that there are fresh crabs nearby.

The crabs here are the worst I’ve ever had. This was a number two male compared to a miniature old day. The one that’s almost like keychain size. Not to mention they were all either dead or something because the taste was absolutely disgusting. We ended up throwing them away and didn’t bother to go back and complained because another family member I called and happened to tell them about the negative experience said that they went and got a gift card when it happened to them and didn’t even want to use it so they gave it away on Facebook and nobody wanted it . 120$ wasted

Happy 4th Got the jumbo steam crabs at captain smiths seafood this past weekend They were incredible. I highly recommend 👌 Also the steam shrimp,Devil eggs,pasta salad incredible Place you're order now!!

Always the best/fullest crabs, my number one stop every time I'm traveling the east coast. My girls love the flavor. My cousin also brings up a box every time she comes up to NY. The boils are great for just hanging with friends at the marina.
