Captain’s House On The Lake

Had a great stay here. Hosts were wonderful. Stayed in Mary Kate suite and it was gorgeous. I highly recommend you book this room with the balcony. Walked down to the lake to watch the sunrise.

We were looking for a nice, quiet place for a short vacation. This place was perfect. It has beautiful views of the water from the back balcony and fire pit area. The rooms were immaculate, and Claudia was very responsive. It is only a 5-minute walk to the town square, so it was the perfect location to be able to walk to shops and restaurants, but then to retreat to a quiet spot on the lake. We loved it.

What a fantastic place. The house is beautiful and very well restored. The location is great it's only 2 blocks from the square and right on the lake. Beautiful fire pit and the hosts are amazing, very helpful and nice.

Had a wonderful relaxing stay at the Captain's House on the Lake! Very convenient location, beautiful furnishings, a lovely peaceful view sitting on the upper floor deck looking out over the river. Too hot outside to use the fire pit but that would have been fun! Great hospitality and responsive service. Thank you! I will come again!

Amazing experience. Awesome view of the lake, very comfortable bed, everything you could possibly need. Plenty of space in common area to work and relax. Friendly and Responsive hostess. Close walking distance to square and close to everything!! Amazing sunrise! Can’t wait to come back!
