Captains Kitchen Food Truck

Amazing food truck! First of all, $8 for a shrimp burger is about as cheap as you are going to find it these days and it is loaded with shrimp! I jokingly told my friend she should get the Skeeter Don burger because it sounded gross, and she thought I was serious so she ordered it and then she said, Oh my God, what have I ordered!? I don't want a burger with shrimp, pickles, onions, chili, slaw and crab dip on it, but it was already being made. We both tried it, and it was sooo good! Shocking, all those ingredients went well together. I'd definitely get both of those things again. She also got fried oysters and said they were good as well.

Perfect weather picnic tables with umbrellas over them. Possibly the best shrimp burger I've ever had anywhere. There was another burger's worth of shrimp falling out of it after I finished the shrimp burger. Only $8 which I consider a good deal. I would definitely make this a habit each time I came back to the beach possibly more than once each visit.

We love the Captain’s Kitchen! It is very conveniently located across the street from the place we stayed. Great value for the amount of food you get, and it’s always delicious. Friendly faces and we were served very quickly. We recommend the hush puppies and the famous super shrimp burger.

Was lucky enough to afford some weekend time down here and ate at quite a few seafood places that were actual restaurants. This food truck hands down gave me the best tasting seafood I’ve had since I’ve been here. Polite people working the truck and a great menu for any seafood lover. The soft shelled snack and shrimp burger were amazing and enough shrimp that you could make two sandwiches out of it. Needless to say I will always look for this truck anytime I come back down in the future ❤️

Generous portions and low prices. Shrimp and oysters tasted high quality amd fresh. Wish they threw a few more hushpuppies on a plate, but thats my only complaint. Cash only, outdoor seating. Bring wet wipes.
