Cardinal Restaurant and Lounge

This restaurant and bar is located within the Hilton and for a hotel restaurant it is very good. The biggest plus is they are open till 1 am since they are an airport hotel. Doors is even served to the wee hours. Have eaten here many many times and as a whole are consistently good. They have an impressive whiskey collection, and the bartender is knowledgeable. They have many cocktails choices and lots of beers on tap. The burgers are great and so is the turkey club. Chicken wings are inconsistent but fine. They do a nice job on salads and their pot stickers are amazing!

Our experience at the Cardinal restaurant was overall good. It's a restaurant inside the Hilton hotel. There is a bar with seating, lounge and restaurant seating. Gladys was our server and she took great care of us, very friendly and fast service. She checked on us several times and gave good recommendations for food. We both had the Santa Fe Chicken salad. It was very tasty and fresh, including tomatoes and avocado. The vodka martinis were good sized and delicious. Prices for food were reasonable. Drinks were more expensive than usual. I would go back.

Dined in here to use to complementary meal from Lufthansa. There are diffefent menu for different airline complementary meals. The lady at the fron gave me an Air China menu but then when I asked the waitress, there's a different menu for Lufthansa passengers. The difference between the two menus is that there are fewer options for Air China. The servings are good but the freshness of the meat ingredient is not the best. Overall, this place is alright. There's not much options nearby.

I arrived 6 minutes after they opened for for lunch and was the third person in for the day. As of writing, I have waited also 50 minutes for my food and still nothing. The place is getting busier and the wait is horrendous. They have a robot that helps bring out food but if they cut staff for that, it is a grave mistake. DO NOT RECOMMEND this to anyone.

After a missed connection at Dulles, we were looking for a relaxing dinner. Multiple mistakes were made with my entree and it ended up taking more than an hour for me to finally get my dinner.
