Cargo Cafe - Torrey Pines

Not good experience and service, no good coffee, and expensive. The first order was made wrong, which I get happens sometimes. So I asked the barista "is this a sweet drink"? To which she replied "yeah you asked for vanilla latte". I said I never asked for vanilla (as that's not something I ordered or ever order). She had rather an unpleasant vibe, no smile no sorry I'll remake it. Her vibe was annoyed and not wanting to be working there. Not to mention, they charge $2 if you order drinks without ice. Yes, $2! I know some places charge for that, but not this much! To top it off, my drink was disappointing, there was 0 coffee taste. Will not be returning, and I recommend anyone to go elsewhere for good coffee and pleasant service, if you like your coffee tasty and not starting your day with

My latte was great. The ham and cheese croissant was ok - needed less ham and smaller chunks

Stopped in during a business trip. Had a delicious pumpkin muffin, a PB smoothie, and capped it off with a cappucino. It is more expensive than a typical cafe, but the food quality was also noticeably better. Location is not the most relaxing or peaceful as it is nestled in a corridor with heavy foot traffic, so not a Cafe where you can work without distractions. I still recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

I love coming to this café! The lattes are always perfectly made, and the atmosphere is so cozy. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasure. It's my go-to spot for a great cup of coffee. Highly recommend!

this coffee is so good and the gals who work here are so sweet even when it’s super busy! i love chatting to them and honestly the prices aren’t bad at all.
