Carlito's Mexican Restaurant

We’d been traveling through some southern states and really needed some good Mexican food - specifically tacos. There were a bunch of restaurants listed but most were not open yet or were closed. I found Carlito’s and since it’s a pretty easy off then back on the Interstate we decided to give it a try. Thank goodness we did. It was 10:00 am and there were a few folks eating. Our server brought us menus, chips, and salsa almost immediately. Then she was back with our drinks and then our food. It tasted so good! The customers were friendly and our server was very on top of things as well as friendly and kind. We would definitely go back again. PS - the outside looks run down but it’s in fine shape inside. Don’t let that deter you.

Absolutely the best Mexican food in Beaumont, I’m addicted and need my fix here once a week. Cheese enchiladas, are perfection

The only other time I have seen a Mexican restaurant neglect the Mexican customer was in Galveston Texas Gorditas. I been to mission tx to Lake city south Carolina never have I had to pay extra for bacon which was burnt on ur huevos rancheros carlitos restaurant needs improvement on many things. One be the language the staff uses in Spanish in our culture its called naca when lady's use foul language. coffee was ok tho. This is my sincere rating

I've tried many Mexican restaurants in the area, this one has to be one of my favorites! Cold salsa, excellent chips, their rice and beans were delicious. My chicken queso meal was fantastic as was the rest of our parties food. Our waitress was a tentative, and really good at her job, I wish I got her name. There's more parking spots behind the restaurant. Definitely will be returning. Prices were good and it felt very authentic.
