Carl's Donuts

Had seen Carl’s on Instagram. Looked good so finally had the chance to visit. Staff are welcoming upon arrival. They have lots of options. The cinnamon rolls looked great but I prefer the traditional icing not the cream cheese version. The quiche was great. The donuts are great but icing is a bit rich. Granted it’s been a bit since I’ve had that much sugar. There’s plenty of room to sit and enjoy your selection.

I’ve been to this place a few times and unless you’re getting specialty donuts, quiche, or their freshly made cinnamon rolls their general donuts aren’t that great. Specific instance is their glazed donuts and donut holes are cakey not airy. And others like maple bar are pretty dry. But if you get specialty ones they pay pretty good attention and have fun flavors. One of my favorites are their peanutbutter and jelly. They also made some pretty good caramel and blueberry pie donuts as well. Perfect amount of filling in those.

Great selection. My vendors love it when I bring boxes to their offices. I bought this cute 3d printed spider for my grandson who is obsessed with jumping spiders.

Carl's Donuts is hands down our favorite donut shop. Anytime we need to bring something to share with a group or take treats to a party, this is the first place we go... we usually end up buying dozens because everything is just that good. My family and I honestly don't enjoy donuts from the big franchise shops anymore because once you've had Carl's, nothing else compares. Their donuts are always incredibly fluffy, fresh, and delicious every single time. You can really taste the difference in quality, and it makes all the chain donuts feel disappointing in comparison. One important tip: get there early. They close at 2pm, and if you go too late, chances are everything will be sold out or only the less popular flavors will be left. Always fresh, always the finest donuts in Las Vegas. My favorite place for coffee and a cinnamon roll before a weekend motorcycle cruise. The young ladies at the counter are quick, courteous, and pleasant in their tasks. A great place to sit and warm up to the morning.
