Carmela’s At The Loft

My first visit tonight and we had a lovely time. The food was very good. Our server was very attentive and attended to our every need. The place was cleaning well kept with a nice design. We ended up spending close to two hours and really enjoyed meeting and talking to the owner who, you can tell, really loves what he does and was very knowledgeable about the food of Italy and variations from region to region. I could talk to him all day, but would love to spend the day in the kitchen with him too, as I love Italian food, love to cook and love the history and regional differences. We plan to go back for a 'Tour of Italy'.

We had the most incredible experience here, and I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Due to a scheduling mix-up, they technically didn’t have to open for us, but the owner looked at us and said, “We are people of our word, and this wasn’t your fault.” That alone tells you the integrity and kindness of this place. We were so thankful, and from the moment we walked in, Ashley took care of us like family. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the kind of place you instantly feel at home in. And the food…oh, the food. Truly unforgettable. My husband and I both agreed it was the best steak we have ever had in our lives. Carmela’s is hands down one of my favorite local spots. The food is legit Italian. It’s always fresh and full of flavor. The drinks are made to perfection. Brunch and dinner are both great, and the staff are super friendly. I love that it’s not a chain; it feels personal, and even the owner walks around checking in on tables. You can tell they actually care. Highly recommend!

Food was absolutely delicious! Customer service was 10/10 I will defintley be returning. The whole restaurant is very clean , very nice music playing while you enjoy your food and drinks.

We were seated in the loft area, very cozy atmosphere, the place was all dressed up for Christmas. Our server Olivia did a great job 👏. Me and my wife had the mozerella sticks to start off and they were great, they are toasted not fried, they use breadcrumbs for the batter, lighter than most mozerella sticks but we could easily put away two orders they were that good. We both spaghetti and meatballs and she couldn't do the meatballs because she found them to be to spicy but I enjoy a good spice and once you get that first bite in you don't even notice it, but if you think pepper is spicy like my wife then be warned. It's not cheap at all but it was a very nice night out. Would highly recommend for a date night 😊
