Carnival Jamerican Eats

I ordered the jerk chicken and the large oxtails with rice and peas and cabbage, and let me just say—everything was amazing. The oxtails were tender and full of flavor, falling right off the bone. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky kick, just the right amount of heat without being overpowering. The rice and peas were cooked just right, and the cabbage balanced it all out with a nice, savory crunch. I also grabbed a few beef patties for the kids, and they didn’t disappoint. Flaky on the outside, flavorful on the inside—exactly what I was hoping for. And of course, I had to get the cocoa bread. You just can’t go wrong with it. Plantains: ZERO out of 10 (dry, old, flavorless) Beef patty: 5/10 (one of ours was flattened and had a thin smear of filling only) Jerk chicken and rice: 9/10 Customer service: 3/10 (not friendly, not apologetic when ripping you off of your food you paid for, rude) You've been warned.

The food is decently priced. I feel like it’s more expensive than normal Jamaican spots because of inflation, but the food was so good. I got stew chicken with cabbage and plantain(2, I ate the other one before taking the pic) for the sides. They have other sides that you can pay extra for, but the cabbage was delicious. Would definitely go back

The portions super stingy. 13 dollars for small brown stew with what amounts to less than a quarter chicken is madness. 2 stats because at least the flavor of the chicken was half decent.
