Carolina Crab Company

Stopped for dinner on a Sunday night. We were seated immediately. We were seated indoors. The place is nice but it was loud inside. I ordered the Low Country Boil and my wife had the Crab and Shrimp Boil. Mine came with corn on the cob, potatoes, and sausage. The meal could have maybe used a bit more seasoning but was still good. My wife liked everything about her meal. Service was very good as well.

The crab cake was delicious without any bell peppers, a real traditional recipe. The fish tacos were also very good. The waitress who initially took our order disappeared and then another waiter seemed to take over, who was more attentive. They both looked like they were running back and forth running the bar and bussing and waiting on tables. Carolina crab is along the water's edge under the bridge. There are two or three other restaurants in the same building complex. Carolina crab is not really outside. It is undercover but open to the outside. The restaurant next door has outside seating closer to the water's edge. The bathroom is really old and shared between several restaurants. I did not like that. They allowed a very loud barking dog to be in the restaurant area. It is too echoey a

Fell upon this place by way of google. I wanted seafood and I had time to explore. I wanted something near the water but with good reviews. Someone mentioned fried okra, so I had to try it. Okra is my favorite veggies sautéed, deep fried, air fried or steamed. I had okra for an appetizer ND the shrim/oyster basket for my entree. Food was delicious. Service was great. Highly recommend. I will be back.

We came to this place to get crab but for 2 clusters it was $45 so we didn’t get it, instead we got the seafood pasta which was OK. The scallops were very hard. I couldn’t even bite into it. They were like rubber on a tire, then when we told the waitress about it, they didn’t even do anything ! The muscles were good and the shrimp was OK. We also got chicken tenders those were just OK but the hush puppies were HORRIBLE. They were so rubbery you couldn’t even bite into them, They were NOT EDIBLE I would definitely NOT COME BACK!!!. My overall experience was a 4/10

David at the front guided us into an amazing experience! Fantastic food! Great service by DJ the bartender! I had the crab salad which was so good! The fried clams are to die for! The key lime pie is the best I’ve ever had! Love that Carolina Crab Company is not a chain! 10/10 recommend!
