Carrabba's Italian Grill

It had been years since we have been to Carrabba's. So, we wanted to go back. Soup: Mama Mandola's Sicilian Chicken Soup Main: Carrabba's Italian Classics Trio (Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Parm, and Lasagna) I was indecisive, so I got the trio. The meal was okay. Everything overall just seemed a bit salty to me. The chicken parm was also a bit dry and chewy. I wasn't upset with the experience. I knew it being a chain that it wasn't going to knock my socks off. 😂 We wanted to have an decent family dinner out close to home, and that is what we got. The service was amazing! All of the service staff made sure we never ran out of anything. We almost felt spoiled.

Call ahead and seated as requested. Waited 10 minutes for water, 15 minutes for bread. Service was slow, tablet battery was down in our servers device. Not sure if this had any effect on the LONG service wait we experienced. Order placed after 30 minutes. Salad arrived 10 minutes later, dinner 20 minutes after that. Our appetizer came after our entree was delivered. Requested water refills twice before receiving. Requested carry out bag twice from our server, finally asked another server and promptly received one. Was not a pleasant experience at all. Our plates, cups were never cleared from our table as we finished. Mens restroom was dirty. Will be a long time if ever return.

I had such a wonderful experience at Carrabba’s—from start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was clean, warm, and welcoming, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We were fortunate to have Keith B. as our server—he was personable, attentive, and made us feel like valued guests from the moment we sat down. He struck the perfect balance of professionalism and friendly conversation, which made the meal even more enjoyable. To top it off, the owner, Vincent, personally came over to our table with a sample of zucchini fries he had recently improved. He is truly an outstanding server and consistently makes every visit exceptional. Keith remembers our preferences, our usual orders, and even our family members — which makes the experience feel personal and welcoming every single time. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism, efficiency, and genuine warmth the way he does. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday. He likes European-style steak, and it was excellent — he was very happy. I also loved the name of the place; it reminded me of Mangiafuoco from The Adventures of Pinocchio, and in the Russian version, The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Buratino. That association made me want to visit it even more. We were there with our daughter’s family — her husband and our grandchildren. The wine was perfect, everything was very tasty, and the dessert was delicious. The waiter was very kind and attentive — he even sang “Happy Birthday” in Italian for my husband, which made the evening even more special.
