We have been active members of our public library for nearly two decades, and it has truly been a cornerstone of our family’s lives. I’ve raised all three of my children visiting multiple times a month, from their infant years all the way into their current teen and preteen stages. As a homeschool family, we rely heavily on the incredible resources the library provides. The classes, educational materials, and learning opportunities have been invaluable to us over the years. We’ve attended countless events, many of them absolutely amazing, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond to create engaging, meaningful experiences for families. The summer reading program is something we look forward to every single year, it has become a cherished tradition in our home. We primarily visit the
I'm a library kind of guy... Where ever I reside, I'll familiarize myself with the local public libraries. The libraries in Cumming GA have been my personal top-ranked for hours of operation, services offered, layout/design, accessibility for a disabled guy like myself. Well, the Cartersville Public Library was a very pleasant surprise. I thought maybe I'd have trouble when I walked into the main area and immediately noticed a plethora of stairs...(my disability'nemesis)... My shoulders dropped in anticipatory disappointment... However, as I began lightly exploring I noticed an elevator... Disappoint thwarted!... I really like the layout and design of this library. Good library. Large selection of both fiction and non-fiction, and a massive DVD/Blue-ray section with a selection that is quite surprising for a public library. Has a teen/young adult area, as well as a children's area with computers, games, study areas, and many other child friendly activities.
Wonderful Library with many helpful amenities! Very quiet, Access to Georgia Gateway Benefits Kiosk for SNAP / EBT. Lovely artwork in the front of the building, private study rooms, desks for reading with outlets, charging stations!
What a great library, and the architecture feels so fresh, open and inviting, while being smartly functional. Lots to be found here. And wonderful staff. Great place!
