Caruso's

I find that this is one of the best hidden gems in mebane. The lady always greets me so nicely. She remembers me and we continue the conversation where we left off. The buffalo wings are a must and the best I had. If you chose not to eat here you are missing out.

We decided to support our small local business today. Our last visit to Caruso’s was good. This was definitely a mistake. We should have turned around after stepping out of the car in ankle length grass. We passed many restaurants on our way home just to support local because without local business the corporate world could control everything. The menu does note that prices have increased and I do understand that. Upon ordering we were even discussing pricing in front of the lady waiting on us. After ordering we noticed ants on the window. After getting the salad on the table the ants started to gravitate towards the food. The pizza came shortly after. The pizza was good and the ingredients were fresh. Wait! Your pizza was good but it’s way to expensive. The prices on the menu is not what she charges when you get to the register, we had a big surprise. Instead of $17.75 for a large supreme it was $22.75, big difference.. for a large pizza, small salad and we drank water. $30.00. I would much rather give a good review but In this case I just can’t. By the way, please spray for the ants crawling on the table & Make it clear that your “PRICES has CHANGED “

Food was delicious. But customer service was terrible. Asked for a straw said she didn’t have one even though there was a whole container of straws. I asked for Parmesan cheese, normally given in packs, she told me they put it on the pizza already even though I could not tell it was on there. Just really weird. Will not be returning.

Not sure why this place doesn't have a 5 star average rating on Google, could be the curb appeal, but this place never lets us down. Food is top tier
