If you’re looking for a sweet treat that’s mamash a simcha and you also need it to be kosher, this Carvel is a real winner. First of all, it’s such a relief walking into an ice cream place and knowing you can actually order without playing “20 Questions” about every topping and cone. The setup is clean, the flavors are fresh, and everything feels organized and on the up-and-up. You walk in planning to be “responsible”… and then you see all the options and suddenly you’re like, “Nu, it’s only ice cream… it doesn’t count.” 😄 The soft serve is classic Carvel — smooth, creamy, and always hits the spot. I like the ice cream here, however after the flood, the prices rise and the serving sizes shrunk considerably. Even though the service is excellent, the cost of two ice cream scoops is not reasonable.

Had such a nice experience. Wilson was so polite and helpful. Love me some carvel cake!

As a kid I grew up in Elizabeth.. my walks on Elmora Ave with my friends where “just because walks” but we always ended up at Carvels. Now a bring my kids when ever they want cream… Love their I cream cake the most…rum raisin lover 🥰
