Carvel

Terrible service…. As someone who’s came here for years it’s really such a shame that this carvel changed ownership and now provides terrible service and quality. I asked for M&Ms and sprinkles on my sundae and the lady put literally no M&Ms and when I kindly asked her to put more (since I’m already paying additional for toppings) she responded no because if I want more M&Ms then she’ll need to charge me additional because it’ll be considered additional toppings. I’d honestly rather drive to a different town to get better service because the one in Harrison is no where near what it used to be.

Yesterday was National soft serve day. Carvel offers Small Cup or Cone of Soft Serve for $1.00. Limit one per person. I brought my son there around 10:45am yesterday. I showed the below offer page, but this staff clearly told me “No, it’s one ice cream per group of people!”. So I could only get one ice cream for my son. Nothing for myself. After talking to my friend later yesterday, my friend told me every person can get one ice cream. Here I am attaching Carvel offer and the staff that refused me with Carvel national offer.

The owner commenting and saying that’s their “standard amount” is actually ridiculous and goes to show that they are a money grabber. You can go to any other carvel and receive better customer service than this place…. Such a shame that they switched owners because the previous owner actually cared about their product and customers. Trust me you’re better off taking a 10 minute drive to another carvel location or even a mom and pops shop instead of going to the one in Harrison.

Your carvalanch large is 2/3 of a cup, they literally weigh the icecream and tell you they have new cups that’s why there is so little in a cup…. They said it is cost controlling.!!! They are stealing your money.!!!

My wife and I have a little tradition to eat here on a tough work day. The service and the ice cream good, no complaints, I wish they had more favors. But the ice cream has a good texture and the selection they have to good. I mean its ice cream… The prices are also fine and you can sample whatever you want~
