The ice-cream cakes are smaller now since new owner ship. They are getting so small, they are putting the frosting on the cardboard to make it look the same size. Just another company and its shrink flation

Great experience. This place is like night and day to what it used to be. I don't know if the guy working there is the owner or manager but he has really turned this place around. The ice cream is delicious. The store is clean and looks fresh. Every freezer is stocked with a variety of classic, fun, and seasonal cakes. Took the kids here to get a scoop after a special event expecting to just want to take the ice cream home. The store was so welcoming that we stayed and the kids had a blast.

Here's the 'Scoop' This place is a spoonful above the rest. Its truly a different carvel experience. I'm unsure if Shane is the manager or owner. But he's a polite, courteous face here. Who always has a smile and great attitude. You almost forget you're at a Carvel and instead at a small town ice cream shop . I don't get the corporate feel here. Kudos to all of you here. And thanks for the free scoop on NYE. :)

Ice cream was ok. However the business is for sale so you can tell the owners aren’t putting much into it. Carvel is a decent brand but dated. The kids had different flavor soft/hard ice cream. Had a weird consistency. Somewhere between soft and hard ice cream. Let’s be honest it’s hard to go wrong with ice cream however the food and experience were simply average.

This place has improved significantly since our last time here in the Spring. They have given the paint a facelift and cleaned up the general aesthetics. I do think more seating would be helpful (which is why I gave 4, not 5 stars. We ordered two regular ice creams and I had the joy of having the dairy free Pina Colada sorbet. It was delicious and refreshing- I do wish I was a little colder and less melted (again why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars). My oldest child and I are dairy free due to lactose intolerance and there are almost no ice cream shops that offer such options. Thank you Carvel for paying attention and offering so many delicious options and not just flavored ice.
