This place is a complete health hazard and should be avoided at all costs. I watched a man behind the counter scooping ice cream with his bare hands and NO gloves. That alone is disgusting enough to walk out immediately. Then came the cake situation, which somehow managed to be even worse. I tried to return a cake, and instead of handling it professionally, they took it into the back where I couldn’t see what they were doing. When it came back, it was EATEN FROM. Yes — THE STAFF ATE FROM IT. After that, they actually had the audacity to tell me “there’s nothing wrong with it” and expected me to TAKE IT BACK HOME AFTER THEY ATE FROM IT. Disappointing. Paid 50.00 for a cake for my husband's birthday. When all our guest cut into it. There were ice crystals in it. Not the normal creamy ice cream. When we got it, the case next to the one we picked it from was broken. Evidently our cake was originally in the broken freezer and moved to the other after being partially defrosted. Terrible thing, after calls to the store we were told manager wasn't in. Never got anyone else to respond to our calls. POOR BUSINESS. If I want Carvel. I'll drive to the Florida NY store or go to Rita's.
Our goto place for soft ice-cream. Soft serve is very tasty, however, the hard ice-cream i ordered today came with refrigirator smell and taste. Terrible. Threw out the cup. They cheated out on the Carvel sign and did not illuminate it. You cant tell if there even is a Carvel.
Carvel is everyones favorite soft serve ice cream. The young lady that served us was curt and rushed (I understand people want to be served but customer service should still mean something) The container for sundaes (medium in this case) wasnt even filled to me it feels like they try to get over on you. You decide. Not the worse experience but I was expecting better frim a chain
