I really like this Carvel. Under new ownership, the store is much better than before. clean, well-organized, and bright inside. It feels comfortable to walk in, and the ice cream and cakes are always fresh and have so many choices.

Stepping into Carvel Somerset Store is an instantly delightful experience that goes far beyond just getting a dessert. First and foremost, the cleanliness is impeccable. The serving counters are spotless. Every person behind the counter is genuinely cheerful, patient, and clearly loves what they do. They offered thoughtful samples and helped guide me through the choices with enthusiasm, making me feel welcome rather than rushed, even during a busy evening. But of course, the real star is the ice cream itself. The sheer variety of flavors is mind-boggling! They offer everything from classic vanilla bean and rich dark chocolate to creative, seasonal concoctions. We ordered a baseball cake from Carvel for my son’s birthday and he loved it! The decorators did a great job on the cake. Even though it’s a simple design it came out very clean. Thank you!

Went to get my husband's birthday cake last minute, they we're so nice and understanding and didn't complain about the rush. They even put a note on the cake for me and also was able to get a number candle too! The woman on register was really knowledgeable about the selections and exactly where to find what I needed!! It's adorable in appearance and delicious in taste. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Our whole family loved it, and we’ll definitely be back.
