Cary Regional Library

Wonderful library located in downtown Cary. Friendly and super helpful librarians. They also have computers and study spaces (including a quiet study room), but they are often full (or at least when I am there). Free parking in the garage with direct access to the library entrance. The book suggestions they have are also super helpful if you are undecided. The library also hosts community events and other educational program.

I've visited multiple times. Very clean and organized library. The librarians here seem overly engaged with each other and not the customers, which is fine because I know how to find my book, and I rarely seek assistance unless there are issues. The knowledge level of technology and library software was poor. The staff who assisted me seemed clueless. I approached her to inform her that the self check out kiosk wasn't working instead of using critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills. Both are necessary for librarians - her response was, "it's just a matter of checking out the book" I had to explain to her the option was not on the kiosk, which is why I approached her to check it out. Love the new outdoor book drop! My family couldn’t BELIEVE it when they ripped out the old one (in a brand new building)! Switched over from Eva perry pickup today…Thanks, guys!

It's a nice, big library that has 2 floors. We went on a weekday to work & use the Wifi. We were lucky & were able to find an open table around noon.

This place is so special. Amazing personnel, you can tell they enjoy being there and take good care of the place. Storytime with Keith is the best we've been to, he engages with kids and gives them an opportunity to engage, too. And it's just fun, you know, for kids and also for adults. Every time we go, we have the best time. Great selection of books on top of it (except foreign languages, which they're working on and which we can help with by gifting!). There're some toys for kids to play with and areas to read to your child. It's just good vibes everywhere. Thank you all, including folks who join in on the morning storytime, for making this place so welcoming and inclusive.
