Casa Hernandez Mexican Cuisine

The food is absolutely fantastic! Very nicely balanced flavors and nothing out of place. The flavors were also well balanced and somewhat bold without being overpowering. Service was very good. Atmosphere is pretty good for a restaurant in a shopping mall.

Hate doing what I had to do, i always tip well, but came in for dinner and a few drinks alone after a rough couple of weeks, i meen real real bad, unfortunately I was ignored at the bar, it was the wrong night for that to happen to me, first time I came in a couple months ago I had a great bartender, unfortunately not tonight, you never know how rough of a time somebody could be going through, and a simple smile, and check in on them once or twice goes along way for somebody beating them selfs up mentally. After sitting there empty glasses and plates, I had to beg someone for my tab, pretty sure I was invisible and could have left and no one would have noticed.

We had an awkward experience when we last went out for dinner here- the staff was watching the TV right above my head, which made me feel like they were staring at my face the whole time- I didn't care for that. And when we'd try to wave them down to get their attention, they wouldn't notice, because they were watching the TV. Then, the staff started cleaning up the restaurant 45 minutes before closing. They were spraying heavy cleaners, making it difficult to stay and enjoy the rest of our meal. We were all feeling pretty awkward about the situation, as we were hoping to order another round of margaritas, and some dessert. It seems silly to complain about the smell of cleaners, but it was so strong and really did effectively drive us out of there. It was just a bad enough experience where

¡Ecxelente! we received excellent service at Casa Hernandez. They have several people working together to serve customers, and they do very well. The food is amazing! The papas locos, choripollo and quesabirria tacos are all delicious choices. We hope to return when we are in the area again. ¡Muchas gracias!

The food was very good for this area of the world. Meat was seasoned nicely and cooked to perfection. The chips and queso left a little to be desired but still haven’t found that perfect queso around here. The service was good, the waiter was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was the downfall. Wasn’t bad but a small cafeteria and thigh it was clean, somewhat uninviting. I hear they are opening in Saint Marys in the near future. Looking forward to trying them out there. I’d come back again.
