After so many reservations that ended up canceling, we finally made it to Casa Nuova Italian Restaurant for our special Valentine's Day five-course dinner. The restaurant really goes all out with its attentive service, and the food was delicious. However, some dishes were not a hit. The appetizer, crab stuffed mushrooms, had undercooked mushrooms and a very pasty stuffing texture. The salad, with wilted romaine lettuce, was not as fresh as I had expected in a restaurant like this. The garlic bread was not anything special and needed more olive oil and garlic. The main course, shrimp scampi, had shrimp that was a little overcooked and could have used a bit more garlic. We are always impressed by the beautiful selection on the everyday (and extensive) menu, not to mention the long list of specials provided at the table. The service is impeccable.

Annual Christmas dinner last night w/ my two Business partners Casa Nuova Restaurant in Alpharetta If you are looking for a traditional Italian place, this is IT! The place was decorated to the hilt and it was Packed Most of the staff has been there over 20 years and it shows-spot on and friendly I arrived first and sat in the bar area where I overheard the bartender (I think his name is Andreas) reciting the MANY specials to the folks next to me. He was incredible and his explanations were not robotic as some can be. Victoria was our server and she was also very good. Also worked here for over 20 years.
