Casablanca Express

We got Zaalouk with pita, a Falafel plate, a Vegan Kofta Kebab Plate, and Cheesy Garlic Fries. The zaalouk's pretty good, and those fries are awesome, all crispy with garlic sauce and feta, so tasty. The falafel's a bit too roasted, so it doesn't taste that great. The rice is okay. The vegan kofta wasn't great. Overall, the food was just okay. They do have some vegan/vegetarian choices, though.

I had the chicken shawarma salad and my son had the steak giro wrap with fries. The food is so fresh and delicious! I'm a bit unfamiliar with Moroccan food, so I asked to taste their sauces, and they obliged. The garlic sauce for the salad was divine and I added a little tatziki sauce since the salad had cucumbers. The amount of chicken was generous, too. The fries were cooked to a perfect crisp as well. The prices here are more than fair. I can't think of any place you can get chicken wings for less than a dollar each. Oh, and don't forget to try a Seattle dog. These are the guys who own a few of those dog stands on Capital Hill.

Pretty good food and open late just like Seattle needs!! Food is usually done pretty fast even though they get a lot of business around this time. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly!!! A staple in the making!!!

I tried the garlic fries with my friends after a night out clubbing nearby, and they were absolutely amazing! These fries are a must-try--packed with bold garlic flavor and incredibly satisfying. They're a great deal, too! Perfect late-night comfort food.

Update August 2025: I’m still enjoying these amazing fries to date! Go check them out. Wow! Words can’t quite describe the wonderful flavors the shawarma and the garlic fries have but I’ll try to do my best. The chicken is marinated to perfection. The garlic sauce compliments the pickles, tomatoes and as an added bonus ask for some fries to be added inside your shawarma(you’ll thank me later). The garlic fries are a dream : loaded with feta cheese and garlic sauce with an added bonus of Moroccan spices. Do yourself a favor and stop by and try it for yourself!
