My wife and I went there yesterday to celebrate Valentine's Day. We usually celebrate it early. We went in and sat down next to the fireplace, which was great. When the waitress came, I explained to her that I have a shellfish and tree nut allergy. They told me straight out that they are not used to people coming in with allergies, but they went above and beyond to make sure my food was not around anything I'm allergic to. And they refused to give me cornbread, which is around tree nuts, which is awesome. I asked a question about a sauce I had never heard of, so I asked the waitress what was in it. She didn't know, so the owner of the place came to our table and promised nothing in that special sauce would trigger my allergy. The waitress was very nice, the owner was great, and it was very
Came here for Christmas Eve and it was an awesome place to visit in this night. We had some really good holiday cocktails and a nice guy, Eric, bought a round for the entire bar and that was really cool. The food was incredible. We had a lot of the cheese steak egg rolls, putin, the best garlic parm wings and a chicken bomb sandwich to go with waffles fries. This was exactly the Christmas Eve we were looking for. Thanks Rachel for a lovely time.
Great area. Right in the water with a nice setup outside. There's a couple super friendly people that work there and then a couple grumps. It's a little dirtier than I'd like but the atmosphere makes it worth a trip. Winter time there's wing nights and summer time the 3 days of karoke that gets busy and outside live music by the water. This place is a gem in the rough.
First time having brunch here. No waiting to get seated unlike a lot of other places in Dover on Saturday. Food and service were excellent. Eggs Benedict done right. Home fries plentiful and tasty. Biscuits and gravy great too. Coffee was okay but a little on the weak side.
Service was ok, atmosphere was ok, but the food… They need to close this kitchen. I ordered the shrimp wrap and it was so salted it was nearly inedible. Just absolutely CAKED with salty Cajun seasoning. It tasted gross just a few bites in. Girlfriend ordered steak rare with broccoli and if my wrap was almost inedible due to salt, the broccoli was ACTUALLY inedible. Heinously salty to the point where any hint of broccoli flavor was totally absent. We barely even touched it. Her steak tips, despite being ordered rare, had maybe a piece or two out of 5 or 6 that even passed muster for medium rare. The rest of the pieces were medium to medium well. I asked for a water as my drink and it tasted so strongly of cola from the soda machine I hardly drank half of the small cup despite the onslaught
