Catfish Cove

Tried everything in photos, enjoyed the taste of all items. Will definitely be back, this was my first time here. Catfish, shrimp, hushpuppies, corn nuggets, green beans, creamed sweet corn, mac and cheese, and homemade ice cream with chocolate and caramel.

The service was amazing. The ladies were all so friendly and very attentive. My kids loved the food! It was a pleasant experience.

A good solid 3 all the way around. 👍🏻👍🏻 Buffet is always kept super clean. Love all the fixins for baked potatoes (bacon bits and cheese are by the salad). They have the french fried onions for salad. And I don’t know why, but they have better cheese enchiladas than most of the Mexican restaurants I’ve been to🤷🏼‍♀️ Homemade ice cream and desserts. You’ll be happier paying the lunch price vs dinner so come during lunch hours.

Allow me to say that we have been eating @ Catfish Cove in Yukon for a very long time & the food has always been very good! Unfortunately, that was not the case today. The fried food bins & trays were virtually empty & the food that did remain was cold & inedible. My wife & I decided that we would wait for a while in order to give them time to refresh the food, but unfortunately, it simply never happened. I ultimately spoke to a manager & expressed our disappointment. Instead of her trying to alleviate our dissatisfaction, to diffuse the situation or to make an effort to correct the problem, she was argumentative, confrontational & made bad excuses for the problems. We love this restaurant! It has the ambience of a diner. The owner and staff are friendly. The catfish is always fried golden and soo delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Everything else on the buffet such as salads, cooked veggies, macaroni & cheese, and more are just as appetizing (I love the peach cobbler.) They also have tasty desserts if you don't feel too stuffed after eating your meal. My daughter said she loves the crab legs because they are meaty, easy to break, and not over cooked. If you have never been, I suggest giving them a try.
