Great catfish, corn nuggets, and Hushpuppies. The slaw was perfect, not to vinegary. Corn nuggets were hot and fresh. Tartar sauce was more mayonnaisey, which is how I like it. Service was great. Overall very happy. Got drinks to go and leftovers were just as good at supper time. Total cost $45.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came for the lunch specials and left already planning our next visit! The food shines by staying true to southern-style catfish — perfectly seasoned, crispy, and cooked just right. The hush puppies were exactly how they should be: golden outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. Even the sides impressed us — fries and everything else came out hot, crisp, and not greasy at all, which is a rare treat these days. The service was top-notch from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming, the staff made us feel right at home. We were able to sit outside on the patio with our service dog, Sushi, and the staff’s understanding and kindness meant so much. I had a tension headache when I came in so I couldn't enjoy the food like "normal" without one. This was my first time here for lunch and I have to say the large fish and hushpuppies I had did help ease it up. From whatever "average" is to people though, the slaw tasted a little off to me. Maybe because it's not soaking in mayo or other sauce people use to make it. 😆 I have to come back when I'm headache free sometime.

Recently dined at this well established eatery in Rogers, AR. I have not been here in around 20 years. We had a party of 8 with 2 children. It was 4:00 pm and they continued to run a lunch special for $9.99 and allowed us to order it. The catfish was thick and meaty, fried crisp in clean grease and very tasty. Fries were thick cut and delicious, tomato relish was wonderful and the beans were spot on perfect. As a cole slaw lover I wish there was a little more seasoning in this side but not a deterrent from all the wonderful food we partook of. Aside from the food the service was above and beyond excellent. Drinks were filled quickly, we were asked if we needed anything and our requests were filled immediately and with a friendly attitude. We come for catfish pretty often, most times we get our meal to go but sometimes we like to dine in. Unfortunately, Mr John would be disappointed in his staff. The fish was ok, not the norm but they were a bit busy, not a full house by any means. Their beans which are my favorite, tasted burnt. Still I don’t say a word. The service is/was unacceptable and apparently tolerated. I read reviews before posting my own because I figured it was just me. They seemed bothered by taking my order, when you walk in, not from the table, I was made aware of that. Weird? No plates were given with our meal, no refills on drinks, no one came to the table after the meal was served. I spoke to one of the wait staff as there were 4 of them all chatting.
