Cava Wine Bar & Wood Grill in New Canaan is exactly what you hope for in a high-end Italian restaurant and wine bar. The food was truly exquisite. I’m vegetarian, and they had no problem modifying my pasta to fit my diet without sacrificing any flavor being rich, balanced, and beautifully plated. Everyone at the table loved their dishes; it was gourmet Italian from start to finish, not a single miss. The service was just as impressive: fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Our server checked in at the right times, kept drinks topped off, and knew the menu and wine list well. We were invited to Cava Wine Bar, and we were excited to be in one so famous restaurant between Harvest, Scena, and Southbay. We loved Southbay, and we had very high expectations, and they didn't disappoint us. Every dish was delicious, perfect portions. Cocktails are strong and flavorful. 4 starts only because the desert menu wasn't very impressive, but mango and raspberry sorbet are delicious.

Our food choices were amazing. Fried artichokes were too die for.Service was great & friendly staff. Everything we ordered was delicious except one dish was ok but will be going back to try that dish again for improvement. Highly recommended

The food and the vibe are fantastic. Every dish I tried was prepared very well and had rich flavors. The only negative was that the service was a little slow, that being said the staff was friendly.

Service terrible. Had to go find our server 3 times during the course of our meal. She was nowhere to be found. Had to ask busboy to find her. Food good but very small portions. Server didn't stick around to take my drink order.
