Cavana's Pub and Grub

Took some friends here on our motorcycles. Never even got a server. Asked bar tender if we could just grab a beer from the bar and sit out side since it was packed full and the only seating was outside patio area. They told me I have to order from a server and they'll be out there to take your order. We waited for 15 minutes. I walk back inside. No one could help. By far worst experience I ve ever had. Won't be coming back to this place ever. Felt completely ignored and disrespected Especially from the bar tender that new exactly why I had walked back in and waiting at their "hostess station" as he was just hanging out behind the bar. You lost me as a customer, will not be coming back. Obviously not even for a beer since they couldn't even do that for us

Excellent. Very good food, large portions, friendly service. Nice place. Nice atmosphere. Air condition was cold on a hot day so appreciated. Definitely a place to return to. Also... Very clean restroom

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. We were staying in Jackson and a lot of places closed early or weren't open on Sunday. We asked several locals where to eat and 3 different people said Cavana's. Pictured is the 49er. Coincidentally my favorite football team and now my favorite sandwich. It was absolutely amazing flavor that keeps building as you chew. First the perfectly cut pastrami, then you're hit with a little mustard, the Swiss mellows the mustard and then you get a hint of rye. Service was excellent as well. A+++

We had never been here before and to be honest, we only went in because the posted menu prices were more than 50% less than the place across the street. The risk paid off. Great vibe. Our server, Marina was superior and had a great interaction style. The food….WOW! Two fat boys could not finish even half a sandwich. Great food. Great portions. Great service. Great prices. Great vibe. What’s not to love!

Came into town, read reviews of nearby restaurants. This place stood out the best from what we read. I'm from the east coast, we know what a true clam chowder should taste like. And I have to say, I have FINALLY found a west coast restaurant that serves freshly made clam chowder!! What a surprisingly, mouth-gasm, freshly made soup! THANK YOU!!! Now onto the rest of the food. We observed the portions of burgers, salads and various foods being served, the portions are huge, so come in hungry OR we found where you can order a half deli sandwich combo - Bingo! I had the half portion Ruben Sandwich and Clam Chowder. The Ruben was amazing, the sauerkraut and melted cheese oh lawd! Their tangy mustard and not to mention the tasty corned beef all piled up on an amazing marbled rye bread! Yummy!
