Delicious warm food of the day, friendly service, space to eat-in available.

Stopped here while running errands and I had the best lentejas ever! I do realize it was later in the day on a Monday so I’m not holding them to a high standard, but the food was good the service was good and the atmosphere was ok. Some random ppl kept walking in and out but other than that 😂 solid food if you want Dominican home cooked type of meal.

I have to say I only get coffee there in the morning on my walk. I was happy to have discovered it and the food smelled good. However, the women there, what’s up!! Rude. Not a smile, a good morning, a thank you. The puckered lips like they’re angry. I think they should be happy to have loyal customers who will sing their praises.

Great stop after seeing the Met Cloisters! We were looking for some good, local food on our NYC trip and this place did not disappoint. I enjoyed the Mix Mofongo and loved the flavor of the fried plantains with the Chicken, Pork, and Cheese toppings. The restaurant itself is very casual, with TVs showing broadcasts in Spanish, but the food was professionally presented and delicious.

This little gem of a restaurant serves some of the best Dominican food I have eaten in my entire life. Marinated grilled steak, roast chicken, fried plantains, Mofongo, fried Yucca… Everything is delicious, the restaurant is a beautiful little gem box, and the owner is elegant and wonderful. The prices are modest we loved everything.
